Next Meeting

Kindly sponsored by Clydesdale Bank

Alistair Stewart from Downies of Whitehills will be coming along to give a talk and demonstration of cooking and preparation of fish on Wednesday 24 September 2008, starting at 7pm, in the Supper Room of the Town Hall in Elgin.

We all know that fish is an important part of a healthy diet, but many people are unsure how to go about preparing it, so why not come along and see what new ideas you can try out to keep your diet varied and interesting!

Parents Drop In Evening

There will be 'drop in' evenings taking place on 3rd Thursday each month over the summer (next evening is 21 August 2008) for parents of children with diabetes.  These will also take place in Dunbarney House which is the building towards the bottom of the driveway to the front of Dr Gray’s Hospital in Elgin.

If you have a child with diabetes and want information, or just to chat, come along and see us.

November Meeting

We are pleased to have Dr Mark Houliston who is the Clinical Lead of Grampian Diabetes MCN, coming to speak for us on Monday 24th November, again at 7pm in the Supper Room of the Town Hall.

Dr Houliston is a keen cyclist and is going to be speaking about his cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats to raise money for Diabetes UK.
